    Moment police storm packed church to arrest the pastor for conducting service despite government order banning public gatherings (video)


    Police stormed the Open Arms Ministries in the middle of a church to arrest the top Pastor for flouting the ban on public gatherings within the wake of the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.

    Apostle Kofi Nkrumah Sarkodie was arrested by the Ashanti Regional Police Command for holding a church at North Suntreso in Kumasi.

    When police arrived, members attempted to ignore them and continued singing praises.

    However, when the officers tried to arrest their pastor, the members put up a resistance and clashed with the uniformed cops .

    In a video shared online, church members are often seen booing the cops as their pastor was bundled into a waiting van.

    This comes days after Ghanaian President Akufo-Addo announced measures to make sure that the novel Coronavirus doesn’t spread further within the country.

    These measures included a ban on social gatherings.
