7 stab wounds were discovered on the neck of murdered Super TV boss Usifo Ataga, according to a witness.

On Monday, February 14, the hearing in the murder case of Super TV boss Usifo Ataga resumed, with a witness in the case, Raman Obiorah Saliu, telling the court that seven stab wounds were found on the neck of late Usifo, who co-founded the Super Network Limited with him.

Saliu testified in court that Ataga was killed like a chicken because he was tied up like a ram.

Saliu, who was led in evidence by the Deputy Director of Public Prosecution, Mrs A. O. Oluwafemi, also stated that there were two stab wounds on Ataga’s ribs and one on his stomach, in addition to the seven stab wounds on his neck.

During cross examination by Chidinma’s counsel, Mr Onwuka Egwu, Mr Saliu stated that he had no idea who handed over the CCTV footage to the police, noting that the CCTV footage trended prior to Chidinma’s arrest.

Chidinma, a 300-level mass communication student at the University of Lagos (Unilag), is on trial for Ataga’s murder alongside her sister, Chioma Egbuchu, and one Adedapo Quadri. Chidinma, Ataga’s sidekick, was arrested after his body was discovered in an apartment.
