Citizens have expressed concern about the country’s insecurity as a result of armed bandit attacks in northern Nigeria.
After the bandits began striking train stations, the country’s war on terrorism took a new direction.
Terrorists recently attacked an Abuja-Kaduna bound train, killing numerous notable Nigerians and leaving several persons missing, according to the Nigeria Railway Corporation.
Families of the victims have also spoken out, urging Nigerians to pray for their loved ones in the hospital and for those whose whereabouts are unknown to return safely.
According to a BBC News report, the following passengers aboard the ill-fated train have been confirmed dead:
Dr. Chinelo Nwando
Dr. Chinelo Nwando, a medical practitioner going for Canada, had worked at St Gerald Hospital in Kaduna before resigning a month ago to prepare to leave the country.
Sadly, she was shot by terrorists and died as a result of the incident.

She also revealed that she was scheduled to fly to Canada on Friday before the tragic tragedy that claimed her life.
